Date joined the Band April 1997
A little biography about me I have played guitar since the age of 14. Played in numerous covers bands, including 'The Friends Of Carlotta' with Bassist Steve Meredith, which in 1989 briefly included Lee Bates. I always wanted to play in a band that did their own songs, so the opportunity to join Strange Fashion was one that I jumped at.
What is your role in the Band? Mainly Rhythm Guitar which the odd Lead break. I also do Backing Vocals and contribute to some of the material. One song 'Twelve' I co-wrote with Lee Bates who did the Lyrics. 'Tough Guy' is another that has my influence.
What is the most famous gig or venue that you have played? The Cavern Liverpool

What is your favourite Strange Fashion song? 'Anyway' - It never fails to make the hair on my arms tingle
What is your favourite gig in the recent period? The Cavern Liverpool 2005

Have you any regrets about your time in Strange Fashion? The 'disagreements'.
What or who are your influences? My partner Tracy who encourages me all the way.

Have you a Musical influence? Keith Richard, David Gilmour, Pete Townshend
What Stage equipment do you use? Gibson Les Paul Standard, Fender Stratocaster, Fender Telecaster, Marshall Bluesbreaker,  Boss ME50 Multi Effects Board.
What is your Musical highlight of your Career? Pink Floyd at Earls Court 1994.
What is your greatest memory or moment with Strange Fashion? The Cavern
What is your worst memory or moment with Strange Fashion? The Old Tigers Head in Lee. We had 3 people in the audience and one of them was a heckler!
What are your Ambitions with the Band? To keep it alive and working

First 7" record that you bought? The Beatles 'Twist & Shout' EP
First LP that you bought? Rod Stewart's 'Every Picture Tells A  Story'
Favourite 7" record? Queens 'Bohemian Rhapsody'
Favourite LP? Pink Floyd 's 'The Dark Side Of The Moon' - musical utopia!
